Adam Balcerek (alias: Adam Black).
Began his journey in architecture, graduating in Germany. However, it was in Paris, where he moved in 2006, that he took his first steps in professional photography. Assisting such legends as Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean, Patrick Shaw, Solve Sundsbo or Sarah Moon gave him the opportunity to perfect his skills alongside the best in the world.
In February 2016, Adam moved to Dubai, where he thrived in advertising, lifestyle, and sport photography. His work has taken him all over the world, shooting international campaigns in Europe, including Spain, Germany, France, UK, or Poland; as well as in the Middle East, Africa (including Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, or Uganda); and Asia (including China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh or the Philippines).
Adam's impressive portfolio boasts work for globally recognized brands such as Adidas, McDonald's, Snickers, Wella, Samsung, Nestle, Heinz, HSBC, Garnier, GAP, Nivea, Cartier, Mastercard, Toyota, and Oriflame, as well as brands from the GCC region, such as Dubai Tourism, Ski Dubai, Adnoc, Oppo, Dubai Mall, Puck, Expo2020, Noon, Lifebuoy, Marhaba, Dubai Food Festival, DSS, and DFC.
His work has also been published in many renowned magazines, including Harper's Bazaar, L'Officiel, WAD, Glamour, Schoen, or Vogue.
Adam's passion for photography extends beyond commercial work. He enjoys working on charity projects, and his most recognizable contribution is Photography for Nairobi, which he executed in Kenya.
Adam's work has gained international recognition, earning him numerous prestigious awards.
His photographs have also been showcased in numerous exhibitions in Paris, London, Warsaw, and Buenos Aires.
He's expertise lies in the attention to detail when piecing together the various elements of an image. He is a master at setting up incredible lighting, ensuring perfection in every shot.
